I finally posted all 221 photos from my recent vacation in St. Thomas, USVI for my sister’s wedding. You can see all photos from this trip here.
St. Thomas is beautiful. But if you plan on visiting the USVI, I highly recommend staying at the smaller island of St. John - which is even more beautiful. All the cruise ships dock at St. Thomas, so it’s overly commercialized and crowded, but the beaches, especially Magen’s Bay, are still gorgeous. 80% of St. John is a protected national park, so the beaches there are very pristine, almost surreal and dreamlike. All in the all the trip was a blast having spent it with such a fun group of drunkards from Lapeer. We partied hard and shared many laughs. I drove my jeep on the opposite side of the road, ate incredible INCREDIBLE food, got lost on the first day driving thru the mountains for 3 hours (i wanted to cry), drank a lot of bushwackers and painkillers, snorkeled with a stingray, saw a sea turtle, wore a dress (!), and i shot the sheriff. One week later and i’m still feeling beach-lagged and rum-lagged - i want to return to paradise! … i hate nyc!
