As I mentioned the other day, I embark on a 26-hour journey from New York City to Melbourne, Australia this Friday. In addition to camera equipment too precious to put in with the checked-luggage, and things like gum and eye drops, my carry-on bag will consist of the following gadgetry capable of doubling as in-flight entertainment:

Finding Power Outlets on Long Flights
On Friday, April 10th, I will be flying on United Airlines from New York City to Melbourne, Australia with a total travel time of almost 26 hours in dreaded coach (no)class. Unfortunately, the Boeings used by United are not fitted with individual entertainment screens on the back of every seat like most long haul flights. It would be nice to have something to do other than read.
